Amazon Business Training Video Focuses on Influencer Marketing

Amazing continues its tradition of releasing insightful training videos via YouTube. The latest video from the company features Boomn CEO, Colin McGuire, who discusses how Amazon sellers can benefit from influencer marketing.

Austin, TX , US - September 16, 2019 —

Globally acclaimed provider of Amazon business training, Amazing, has released another high-quality training video for Amazon sellers. The new video titled, How to Get Started (And Grow) Your Amazon Business With Influencer Marketing,”features Colin McGuire, CEO of digital marketing agency, Boomn. The video was shot at Amazing’s SellerCon conference earlier this year.

In the video, McGuire discusses the techniques to get started with

">influencer marketing and how this marketing methodology can help Amazon sellers scale and grow their brand. In his first tip, McGuire discourages beginners from investing in influencers to post for them. Instead, he suggests sending them free products in exchange for some photos. These images can be used in marketing as well as social media. However, the influencer must be tagged and mentioned whenever these photos are used.

In addition to using photos from the influencers, it is also possible to have them post for an Amazon seller. According to Colin McGuire, the best way to go about this is to have the influencers participate in some giveaway, or contest, or create some themed content. His next tip for the viewers is to ask for advertiser access to the influencer’s Instagram account or Facebook page. Advertiser access will allow the marketers to use the influencer’s post as an ad and drive traffic to a landing page.

“You can also start making ads on that influencer’s Facebook page and Instagram account. Get the ads approved by the influencer, and then actually run ads for your product or your offer from their accounts,” McGuire mentioned. “This is something that a lot of people think, for some reason, it’s untouchable, that influencers won’t do it. The reality is that they will do it.”

Globes carpet kicks off with big sleeves and shades of pink

May 28, 2020

NEW YORK — Cynthia Erivo and Greta Gerwig rocked sparkling chokers as the Golden Globes red carpet kicked off Sunday, with Erivo in a hand-beaded custom Thom Browne gown and Gerwig in black and cream. Both went off-shoulder for the big night in Beverly Hills, California. Erivo, the “Harriet” star and fashion standout, said her dress includes designs of her favorite flower, the peony, at the hem and in her lining. The short-sleeve gown, Erivo told E!, took 800 hours. A huge blue stone dropped from her short necklace. Shades of pink had an early trend moment on Kirsten Dunst...

Solidarity march against anti-Semitism, acts of hate

May 28, 2020

NEW YORK — Throngs of demonstrators joined by elected officials walked solemnly across the Brooklyn Bridge in a solidarity march Sunday against anti-Semitism and all acts of hate. The “No Hate, No Fear" march was organized by New York's Jewish community in the wake of recent anti-Semitic attacks, including a knife attack at a Hanukkah celebration north of New York City that left five people wounded and a fatal shootout at a kosher grocery in Jersey City, New Jersey. The crowds of participants jammed the streets in lower Manhattan as they waited their turns to get across the bridge. “It...

Streep, Miranda and Stone are named as Met Gala co-0chairs

May 28, 2020

NEW YORK — Next year's Met Gala may be the closest we'll ever come to getting a Miranda Priestly moment at the starry event. Meryl Streep has been named as a co-chair of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. The Oscar-winner played Priestly, a thinly veiled fictional version of Vogue editor Anna Wintour, in the movie "The Devil Wears Prada." Wintour clearly has no hard feelings because she selected Streep as a co-chair along with Lin-Manuel Miranda and fellow Oscar-winner Emma Stone. Designer Nicolas Ghesquiere rounds out the group. The gala's theme is "About Time: Fashion and Duration," which...

Congress approves bill expanding animal cruelty law

May 28, 2020

WASHINGTON — Congress has passed a bill making certain types of animal cruelty a federal felony. The bill would expand a 2010 law that made creation or distribution of so-called "animal crushing" videos illegal. The new bill would make the underlying acts of cruelty a federal crime. The Senate unanimously passed the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act on Tuesday, two weeks after the House passed it on a voice vote. Florida Reps. Ted Deutch and Vern Buchanan sponsored the bill. Deutch, a Democrat, said it "sends a clear message that our society does not accept cruelty against animals" and...

Demonstrators demand halt to killings of women in Mexico

May 28, 2020

MEXICO CITY — Relatives of women and girls murdered or missing in Mexico marched through the capital Sunday carrying over 100 purple crosses inscribed with the names of victims, demanding justice for their loved ones and improved efforts to investigate their cases. Bearing T-shirts and signs with photos of the victims, they walked behind banners and chanted the victims' names as they headed for the sprawling main square, the Zocalo, to set up an offering near a massive altar erected to mark Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead. "Not one more killed!" they cried. "Our daughters, where are...
