Certified PEP MEX Expands Its Reach in Mexico With Two New Research Peptide Websites

Nov 7, 2026

Péptidos Verificados brings the full catalog together for online purchase, while Péptido Retatrutida focuses on a molecule as it rounds out its Phase 3 program.

Mexico City, Mexico, November 7, 2026 -- Mexico City, Mexico, 7th November – Certified PEP MEX is a research peptide company that supplies research-use-only (RUO) compounds, and today it announced it is expanding its reach in Mexico with two new websites: Péptidos Verificados at https://peptidosverificados.mx/, where every item in the catalog is available for purchase, and Péptido Retatrutida at https://peptido-retatrutida.mx/, which focuses specifically on retatrutide.

The announcement comes as interest in research peptides continues to grow in the country. Péptidos Verificados brings together 39 compounds in 48 presentations, each with a batch-specific certificate of analysis (COA) and FedEx shipping across Mexico from the official store at https://certified-peptidos.mx/. Péptido Retatrutida offers detailed information on the triple-receptor molecule just as its clinical development approaches a key regulatory stage.

“More and more researchers in Mexico are looking for peptides with documentation they can verify for themselves, and we wanted to give them one clear site with the full catalog and another dedicated to retatrutide as it rounds Phase 3,” said Benson Jamison of Certified PEP. “Every vial carries a QR code that opens the lab report for its batch.”

What Each Site Offers

  • Péptidos Verificados presents the full catalog with a product page, presentation and batch COA for every compound, a dedicated GLP collection, a Spanish-language research library and local pages for sixteen Mexican cities. Every product can be purchased directly on the site, with payment in Mexican pesos.
  • Péptido Retatrutida centers on retatrutide (LY-3437943), a triple agonist of the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. It includes batch specifications, the COA issued by Vanguard Laboratory, and guides to reading a certificate of analysis and comparing the molecule with tirzepatide and semaglutide.

Prices and availability may change without notice.

Retatrutide: Phase 3 Enters the Home Stretch

On July 23, 2026, Eli Lilly announced positive results from the Phase 3 TRIUMPH-2 and TRIUMPH-3 trials, bringing the total to five positive Phase 3 studies for retatrutide. The company plans to submit a Biologics License Application (BLA) to the FDA in the first quarter of 2027.

Retatrutide remains an investigational compound and is not approved as a medicine by the FDA or COFEPRIS. The material offered by Certified PEP MEX is a research-grade compound, distinct from the pharmaceutical product used in clinical trials, and is sold strictly for laboratory use. None of the clinical results mentioned constitute claims about Certified PEP MEX products.

Quality and Transparency

Certified PEP MEX peptides are manufactured in the United States in a cGMP-compliant facility and tested by independent laboratories, most often Vanguard Laboratory in Olympia, Washington, which is accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Every batch has its own COA, and the QR code on each vial opens the report directly on the testing laboratory’s own website.

Research Use Only: Certified PEP MEX products are intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research and are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, clinical use, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease. No dosing or administration information is provided. Statements in this release have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or by COFEPRIS in Mexico.

Retro Woman Philippines opens Makati showroom for preloved luxury finds

As the market for pre-owned luxury fashion continues to grow, Retro Woman Philippines is expanding its online business into a physical retail space, opening a showroom in Makati City where customers can personally inspect and try on secondhand designer bags and other fashion finds.  The family-run business officially opened its showroom on Oct. 28 on the ground floor of King’s Court II Building along Pasong Tamo corner Dela Rosa Street, giving customers more space to explore its collection of authentic pre-owned luxury and vintage designer pieces.  Founded by public relations practitioners Jena Fetalino and her niece, Nikki Fetalino, Retro Woman began in 2021 with a handful of pre-owned designer bags in Fetalino’s townhouse in Parañaque City.  It started as an online venture and eventually grew into a business with a loyal community of customers seeking designer pieces at more accessible prices.  During the opening, Jena explained that a physical showroom allows customers to better appreciate luxury bags, particularly their texture, size and how each piece looks when carried, something that online photos or videos cannot fully convey.  “When buying a bag, people need to feel the texture. They also have to see the proportion of the bag on their body. It’s different when they can actually see and hold the product,” she said.   The showroom carries designer bags, shoes, apparel, fashion accessories and perfumes, including selections from emerging Middle Eastern brands through a business partner based in Dubai.  Retro Woman Philippines sources many of its bags from clients looking to sell pieces they no longer use. Some even invite the team to their homes to assess their collections, giving the business access to pre-owned luxury pieces that may no longer be available in regular retail stores, including limited-edition designs and items sought after by collectors.  To ensure authenticity, Retro Woman provides Entrupy authentication certificates for its items, giving customers added assurance when purchasing pre-owned designer pieces.  Meanwhile, the showroom’s interiors combine contemporary elements with vintage-inspired details. Traditional solihiya and narra chairs are complemented by vintage posters, collectible Louis Vuitton catalogs and other fashion memorabilia, creating a setting that reflects the founders’ appreciation for fashion history.  “It is a new space for more beautiful finds and the same great deals you’ve come to love,” Jena said.  Despite opening a physical location, the company has no plans to discontinue its online operations.   Retro Woman’s live-selling sessions remain a regular fixture every Friday at 7 p.m. on its Facebook and Instagram pages. During the sessions, hosts present each bag under proper lighting, showing its branding, interior, exterior, bottom corners and lining while discussing its history and original purchase details.   “We started live selling in November 2021, right in my townhouse, with very limited stocks. Thankfully, it went well. Since we were also busy running our PR business, we decided to do live selling just once a week, every Friday. It became something our customers looked forward to, and before we knew it, Friday live selling had become a regular thing,” Jena said.  She added that live selling has become an integral part of the business, particularly because customers appreciate being able to ask questions and examine the products during the broadcasts.  “With pre-owned luxury bags, details matter — the condition, the texture of the leather, the size, and even the little signs of wear. Photos can only show so much,” she said.  “The showroom gives customers another way to shop with us, but our Friday live selling will always have a special place in the business,” Fetalino added.  The company also offers layaway arrangements of up to 10 months and free nationwide delivery, giving customers more flexibility when purchasing higher-priced items.  Customer Aileen Beltrano-Bautista said the business stands out for its selection of hard-to-find vintage luxury pieces and transparent condition grading.  She cited the use of numerical ratings, such as 8.5 out of 10, as a way of managing buyers’ expectations. She also noted that the extended layaway arrangements and the hosts’ knowledge of designer brands, their histories and retail prices contribute to a more informed shopping experience.  Jena established her public relations firm, JFPRC, in 2016 and has decades of experience in communications, publishing and public relations. She previously served as president of Mosman NewMedia Inc., publisher of Medical Observer. She received the Gold Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year in the Business Services category for small and medium-sized enterprises at the 2014 Stevie Awards for Women in Business.  Her niece, Nikki, serves as JFPRC’s business development director. She brings experience in advertising, corporate communications, digital marketing and multimedia production.  Interestingly, the luxury resale venture remains a side business alongside the founders’ primary public relations work.   The move comes as the Philippine secondhand luxury and pre-owned bag market continues to gain ground. According to estimates by Mobility Foresight, the market is valued at P8.6 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach P16.5 billion by 2032, based on the report’s specific market definition and methodology.

Mary Kay celebrates beauty and the power of sharing

Beauty has always been a personal experience, but Mary Kay Philippines is putting the spotlight on how it can also bring women together, inspire confidence and create meaningful connections across generations. Through its latest global campaign, “Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared,” the cosmetics brand is encouraging women to exchange experiences, celebrate individuality and find empowerment in a community that supports one another. To introduce the campaign locally, Mary Kay Philippines partnered with online beauty platform The Beauty Edit for a special gathering under its “Un/Convention/Al” talk series, bringing together media representatives, content creators, longtime brand supporters and a new generation of beauty enthusiasts. “We believe in a world that thrives in relationships and emboldens confident women to be their best selves. But we can only do this with each other. Beauty is not meant for gatekeeping; it blossoms when it’s passed on from person to person, from one generation to the next,” said Mary Kay Philippines Commercial Director Criscy Camacho. “As a brand, we are honoring our legacy while introducing a global cultural beauty movement. Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared is an invitation to rediscover what has always made Mary Kay different, and to experience the beauty of what’s possible when we share it,” she added. The event celebrated the brand’s largest consumer-facing global campaign to date, highlighting the importance of connection, shared experiences and the enduring influence of women supporting women. Guests engaged in discussions about makeup, skin care, self-love and empowerment, reflecting the campaign’s message that beauty becomes more meaningful when experiences and knowledge are shared. The luncheon also featured the premiere of Mary Kay’s newest global brand video, a film exploring what beauty means to women of different generations and how its significance continues through shared experiences. Adding depth to the conversations was Dr. Anna Palabyab-Rufino, a board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of BeautiqueMD, who drew from her professional experience working with women across generations. She discussed how perceptions of beauty differ among women and emphasized the importance of creating safe spaces where they feel seen, heard and understood throughout their journeys of self-discovery. Also joining the discussion was Rosanna Periquet, co-founder of footwear and apparel brand Cariñosa, who spoke about the role of confidence in helping women pursue opportunities and establish themselves in their respective fields. “I believe confidence is what gives women the courage to step outside their comfort zones and pursue opportunities, even when they don’t have all the answers,” Periquet shared. “Through my experience in corporate retail and building my own business, I’ve learned that confidence doesn’t necessarily mean knowing everything from the get-go. It’s about recognizing your strengths, being willing to learn, and having the courage to actually try.” Beyond the discussions, guests participated in an activity called “Pass Your Beauty Secret,” which invited attendees to write down their tried-and-tested beauty tips and exchange them with fellow participants. Complemented by Mary Kay beauty and skin care giveaways, the activity demonstrated how even simple recommendations and personal discoveries can become opportunities to connect with others. For Mary Kay Philippines, which continues the legacy of a global beauty company founded by Mary Kay Ash in 1963, the campaign reinforces its longstanding commitment to enriching women’s lives. With “Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared,” the brand hopes to encourage connection over comparison, encouragement over judgment and community over competition, reminding women that beauty can be as much about uplifting others as it is about expressing themselves.
